Medical disclaimer
Please read this before acting on anything the app tells you.

This is not medical advice
Unyx Health is a fitness and nutrition tracking app. It is not a medical device, it is not regulated as one, and nothing in it is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It is not a substitute for a doctor, a registered dietitian or a qualified coach.
Always speak to a qualified healthcare professional before starting a new diet, training programme or supplement — and especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, managing a health condition such as diabetes, heart, kidney or liver disease, taking prescription medication, or recovering from injury or surgery.
Estimates, not measurements
Everything the app calculates is an estimate. Specifically:
- Calorie and macro targets come from standard population formulas. Your real requirement can differ considerably.
- Meal photo analysis estimates portion size from an image. It can be significantly out, particularly for mixed dishes, sauces and cooking oil.
- The physique check gives a broad body-composition range from a photo. It is not a body-composition scan and should not be treated as one.
- Supplement label analysis reads what is printed on a label. It cannot verify what is actually in the product, and it does not know your medical history or what else you take.
- Generated workout programmes and meal plans are templates, not prescriptions.
Allergens and interactions
Never rely on this app to tell you whether something is safe for you to eat or take. Always read the actual product packaging. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, check the label yourself, every time. If you take medication, check supplement interactions with your pharmacist or doctor — not with an app.
Training safely
Exercise carries a risk of injury. Work within your ability, use proper form, and stop if something hurts. If you feel chest pain, faintness, severe breathlessness or anything else alarming during exercise, stop and seek medical help.
Food, weight and your wellbeing
Tracking food and weight does not suit everyone, and for some people it can make things worse. If you have or have had an eating disorder, or you find that logging is becoming distressing or compulsive, please stop using these features and talk to someone. In the UK, Beat runs a free helpline on 0808 801 0677 and beateatingdisorders.org.uk.
Weight fluctuates day to day for reasons that have nothing to do with fat. Trends over weeks mean something; a single morning does not.
In an emergency
This app cannot help in a medical emergency. In the UK call 999, or 111 for urgent non-emergency advice.
Your responsibility
You use Unyx Health at your own risk, and you are responsible for decisions you make about your diet, training and supplements. To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for any loss, injury or harm arising from reliance on the app or anything it produces.
